Jolinne Maisonneuve, known to us as Jo, is originally from North Bay. Jo was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces in the artillery division. After six years of military service, Jo decided to leave the military and pursue other career options.
She joined a jiu-jitsu club and slowly fell in love with the sport and started training daily.
Jolinne who now has a strong love and passion for the sport is currently training out of The Ottawa Academy of Mixed Martial Arts. She trains under the supervision of Hammer Hache (Mathew Hache, who is a second degree Renzo Gracie black belt).
In a short period of time Jo went up the ranks and has now started her professional career in mixed martial arts.
We see her as part of the clinic family, and we want to support her in her professional mixed martial arts career by helping her stay pain free and healthy. We wish her all the best in her professional career, and we are here to support her so she can reach her goals.
You can catch Jo and Andria on VS. Women in Combat Sports, season 2, on Bell Fibe and FITE TV, coming April 2019.
